With the aim of repositioning and making the image of Brazilian ceramics even stronger and more valued in the international market, Anfacer, in partnership with Apex-Brasil, has created the Ceramics of Brazil program.

This project comprises a series of actions and initiatives to differentiate Brazilian ceramics in the world. For solid and assertive delivery, these actions have been organized into four pillars that serve as the basis for Anfacer's objective. They are:

Anfacer + Sustainable was born following this pillar, an initiative of commitment of the ceramic tile sector to have sustainability as a premise for all business strategies and actions.

Seeking inspiration in the original natural, cultural and artistic diversity of Brazil, we are bringing the differential of design with the freshness of a new look that carries freedom and innovation. Anfacer believes that it is possible to give new meaning to the traditional ceramic market, creating new possibilities of expression inspired "in the nature" of our country, which has one of the greatest biodiversities and geological diversity in the world. With the intention of creating products from inspirations found in the environment, we are developing the APOENA program.

Apoena is a word that in Tupi Guarani means "one who sees far", and translates the objective of this program, to make Brazil's diversity and freshness tangible in new product lines with exclusive and innovative design solutions.

This program includes face-to-face meetings, moments of remote work, prototyping and the launch of new lines created using the Biomimicry Innovation methodology.

Named by Fortune as one of the major trends of 2017, Biomimicry is emerging as an incredible tool for innovation and the development of products and processes, generating more economic, social and environmental value. The teams will be accompanied by designers and specialists in biomimicry and innovation from Tátil Design de Ideias, a company with more than 100 national and international awards whose DNA is sustainability and eco-innovation combined with creative brilliance and strategic precision.

To be part of the program, you need to meet minimum criteria:

Technical quality of the product;

Sustainability of the production process;

Principles of commercial relations;

Commitment to the design of the Ceramics of Brazil brand;

Availability of a multidisciplinary team for the work process.

Results

Team trained in biomimetic innovation to fully develop this project;

Beginning of a change in culture, with multidisciplinary work, involving different areas of the same industry in one project;

Creation of new product lines for each industry, with at least 5 new skus per industry;

Being part of building the Ceramics of Brazil brand.
