The Best in Show Award is one of the most important awards in the architecture, design and construction sector. Held at Expo Revestir, the award recognizes the most innovative products presented by exhibitors, and is a benchmark for trends and advances in the industry.
In 2025, the Best in Show Award will celebrate 10 years of recognizing the main innovations presented at the fair. The award, one of the most eagerly awaited in the sector, will select the best products from exhibitors in 15 categories:
1. better porcelain tiles;
1.1 Design Brasil Porcelanato*;
2. Best Ceramic Tile;
2.1 Design Brasil Revestimento Cerâmico*;
3. Best Special Piece (understood as pieces with three-dimensional characteristics, such as cobogós, for example);
4. Best Ceramic Collection - Vats and Washbasins;
5. Best Ceramic Collection - Basins;
6. Best metal: toilets;
7. Best metal: kitchens;
8. Best Natural Stone - Marble | Granite;
9. Best Ultra Compact Surface Product;
10. Best Vinyl Flooring;
11. Best laminate flooring;
12. Better skirting boards;
13. Best Cementitious Coating;
The selection process will be conducted by a mixed panel of judges, made up of highly recognized professionals in the market, including journalists, influencers, interior designers and architects. Under the supervision of architect, journalist and design critic Marcelo Lima, who is also curator and chairman of the jury, the award reaffirms its commitment to quality, innovation, originality and sustainability - fundamental pillars in choosing the winners.
The judges will carry out a face-to-face evaluation at the participating stands during the first two days of the fair, March 10 and 11, 2025, when technical and creative criteria will be analyzed. The winners will be announced on Wednesday, March 12, starting at 9:30 a.m., when the trophies will be presented to the winning companies.
Applications for the award are now open: from November 22, 2024 to February 7, 2025, and interested exhibiting companies should fill in the official form.
