The Brazilian ceramics industry is at a turning point in its internationalization journey. The renewal of the agreement between Anfacer (National Association of Manufacturers of Ceramics for Tiles, Sanitary Ware and Congeners) and ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) guarantees the continuity of the Ceramics of Brazil project until 2027 - and with it, new opportunities to expand markets, diversify destinations and consolidate the sector's presence in strategic scenarios.
Since 2001, Ceramics of Brazil has been the bridge between Brazilian companies and the global market. The project has already opened up fronts in important markets, consolidating Brazil as the sixth largest exporter of ceramics in the world, with sales to more than 110 countries. In the last agreement, between December/2022 and June/2025, Brazilian exports totaled 225 million m² and reached US$ 964 billion in revenue, strengthening Brazil's image as one of the world's biggest players.
The recent decision by the United States to adopt new tariffs on Brazilian products further reinforces the importance of diversifying international presence, which is fundamental to reducing risks and sustaining export growth. In this new biennium, 2025-2027, the Ceramics of Brazil project will expand its support for participating companies, through initiatives that include a presence at international fairs and events, business roundtables, trade missions and market studies.
The new stage of Ceramics of Brazil represents the continuation of more than 20 years of a successful sector project and the construction of a solid future for the national ceramics industry.
