From November 9 to 12, the World Ceramic Tiles Forum 2025 took place, an event that brings together leaders and representatives of ceramic tile industry organizations from various countries to discuss the main global trends and best practices.
The Brazilian delegation included Anfacer's International Relations Consultant, Alais Coluchi , who presented the country's sector data, giving an up-to-date overview of production, the market, competitiveness and prospects for the coming years.
Also part of the Brazilian delegation, the Ceramic Center of Brazil (CCB) was present through its superintendent, Ana Paula Margarido, reinforcing the institution's technical agenda on topics such as quality, certification, performance, innovation and sustainability.
The event discussed topics such as: World Trade; Technical Barriers to Trade; Updating International Technical Standards and their application in each country; Sustainability; Greenhouse Gas Emissions and how carbon trading affects the sector; Alternative energy sources for the sector; Natural Gas and collective communication campaigns (Why Tile, CerAMICA, etc.).
After the forum ended, on the 13th and 14th there was a meeting of Technical Committee 189 at ISO, which develops ISO technical standards for ceramic products, installation products (mortar and grouts) and installation methods.
