Angelgres exports 50% of its production

Looking for opportunities beyond Brazil's borders, Angelgres ceramics sends 50% of its production volume to the international market and is present in 80 countries. The company, located in Criciúma, Santa Catarina, is responsible for producing 1.6 million square meters of ceramic tiles per month. 

Having been in the market for 40 years, Angelgres has consolidated its export-focused trajectory and is currently concentrating its efforts on the United States, Central America and the Caribbean. "We have an export history of at least 22 years. It was a process that started small, but always with the support of the board to transform Angelgres into an international company, essentially an exporter," says export manager Andréia Debiasi. 

All the products exported by Angelgres are made from red mass ceramics. The difference was adapting the production process to meet the demands of the American market, creating new business opportunities. "We have achieved a product of excellence, within the standards demanded by the market, and this has brought us a lot of business, opening accounts, supplying construction companies and other niches within the American market," explains Andréia. 

According to the export manager, another key factor in promoting products on the international market is the partnership with Anfacer (National Association of Ceramic Tile, Sanitary Ware and Related Products Manufacturers) and ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency). Through the Ceramics of Brazil Sector Project, Angelgres participates in fairs such as Coverings and Brazil Ceramic Tiles Experience (BCTE) every year to close new deals. 

"These are fairs where we receive customers who come to find out about new products, trends and confirm deals. It's essential for Angelgres' internationalization strategy and over the years we've always had good results," he says.

Angelgres has 5,000 points of sale in Brazil and has a factory park of more than 20,000 square meters with three production lines dedicated to the manufacture of ceramic tiles with Polished, Satin, External and Glossy products. 

The company is on the banks of the BR 101 highway, which crosses Brazil from north to south, with easy access to the cities of Florianópolis and Porto Alegre, as well as the ports.
