Ceramic World Review has published an updated ranking of the world's largest ceramic tile producers by production volume, with data up to December 31, 2024.
The ranking was drawn up in collaboration with MECS, based on information provided directly by the companies or, in some cases, collected from public or estimated sources.
8th Position - Carmelo Fior
The manufacturer Carmelo Fior produced 96.6 million m² at its five plants. The company owns the Arielle, Cecafi, Fioranno, Idealle and Pisoforte brands.
13th position - Fragnani Group
The Fragnani Group recorded production of 70.3 million m². With three production centers, the manufacturer has the brands Incefra, Incenor, Tecnogres, In Out, HD-Max, UP, Concept, Speciale Técnica, Design and Plus.
15th place - Cedasa Group
It has been estimated that the Cedasa Group will produce 60 million m² in 2024. The company has a single factory in Brazil with the Cedasa, Majopar, Vistabella and Lorenza brands.
18th place - Portobello
Portobello has two factories in Brazil and one in the United States, with a total production of 42 million m², distributed across three brands: Portobello, Pointer and Portobello America.
The US multinational Mohawk Industries is in first place with its Global Ceramics division, which includes brands such as American Olean, Dal Tile, Vitromex, Eliane, Elizabeth, Marazzi, Ragno, Emilgroup, KAI and Kerama Marazzi, with factories in the USA, Mexico, Brazil, Spain, Italy, Poland, Bulgaria and Russia. Total production of floor and wall coverings is estimated at over 300 million m².
The Mexican group Lamosa is in second place, with an effective production of 195 million m². In addition to its nine plants in Mexico, the multinational operates ten units in South America - Argentina, Colombia, Peru and Brazil - and two plants in Spain (Roca Tiles and Baldocer).
The third largest producer of ceramic tiles is the Chinese group Marco Polo, which in 2024 manufactured a total of 185 million m² at its four industrial centers in China and at the Wonder Porcelain factory in the USA. Check out the full list published by Ceramic World Review no. 163/2025.
