Brazil will host COP30, the 30th edition of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), one of the world's most important events in the climate debate. The meeting will take place in November 2025, in Belém do Pará, and will bring together government leaders, scientists, NGOs and representatives of civil society from all over the planet.
This will be a historic opportunity for the Brazilian ceramics sector, which has been standing out globally for its commitment to sustainability. With one of the cleanest productions in the world, the national ceramics industry will be able to strengthen its presence in discussions on reducing emissions, energy efficiency and responsible production.
COP30 will focus on crucial issues such as climate finance, protection of the Amazon and progress on greenhouse gas reduction targets. By hosting the event, Brazil is reinforcing its strategic role in global climate negotiations and positioning sustainable industrial sectors as important allies in the transition to a low-carbon economy.
For the ceramics sector, this will be a showcase for its technological advances, environmental commitment and ability to contribute to a greener future.
