The Brazilian tile industry will be represented at CERSAIE 2026 in Bologna , Italy, one of the leading international events for ceramic tiles and finishes. Recognized for bringing together leading companies and professionals from around the world, the trade show is also a key venue for product launches and for showcasing the latest trends in design, technology, and innovation on the global stage.
This year, Brazil’s participation takes center stage with the debut of two companies as exhibitors, one of which is Carmelo Fior.
Carmelo Fior had previously attended past editions of CERSAIE as a visitor. In 2026, however, the company is taking a new step in its international strategy by presenting its portfolio, production capacity, and various brands directly to professionals and buyers from a range of markets.
According to Marcelo Damm, Export Manager at Carmelo Fior, participating in international trade shows is a strategic move for the company, which currently exports to more than 50 countries.
“Participating in international trade shows is strategic for Carmelo Fior because it allows the company to connect directly with key trends in the global market and brings it closer to customers, partners, specifiers, and industry professionals worldwide.”
With this, the company hopes to increase its international recognition and establish new connections.
“The goal is to expand Carmelo Fior’s presence and recognition in the international market, strengthening relationships with current customers and partners and establishing new business connections.”

For the company, CERSAIE also represents an opportunity to closely monitor changes in the industry and stay abreast of trends and innovations that influence the global market.
“More than just a business opportunity, our presence at CERSAIE also aims to bring Carmelo Fior closer to the trends, innovations, and discussions driving the global flooring industry, contributing to the company’s continuous growth.”
This debut as an exhibitor thus reinforces Carmelo Fior’s internationalization strategy and the Brazilian industry’s presence on one of the sector’s most important global stages.
The company’s participation is facilitated through Ceramics of Brazil, a sector-specific project developed by Anfacer in partnership with ApexBrasil, which promotes the internationalization of the Brazilian ceramic tile industry and expands the presence of Brazilian companies in the global market.
