With 256 meetings held during the 21st Expo Revestir, Latin America's largest tiles and finishes fair, which took place from March 14 to 17 in São Paulo, the Buyer Project generated US$ 20 million in new exports of ceramic tiles, in addition to another US$ 50 million planned for the next 12 months.
The action is part of the Ceramics of Brazil Sector Project calendar, an initiative of Anfacer (National Association of Ceramic Tile, Sanitary Ware and Congeners Manufacturers) in partnership with ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), which aims to internationalize the ceramic tile industry through business generation in foreign markets.
In this edition, 36 Brazilian ceramic tile manufacturers participated in the project, which exclusively received 12 international buyers from Australia, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Panama, as well as five press professionals from Argentina, Colombia, Italy, Paraguay and the United Kingdom, who were part of the Image Project.
