Cersaie, the world's largest coatings fair, took place in Bologna, Italy, with 155,000 m² of exhibition space, the participation of 633 exhibitors from 24 countries and more than 100,000 visitors.
The Brazilian industry was well represented by Eliane and Portobello, which brought the quality and innovation of Brazilian ceramics to the global stage.
Portobello presented the preview of its first global collection, Bossa On The Road, an innovative and collaborative phase that brought together cultural influences from different parts of the world. This collection brought surfaces that combined advanced technology with sustainable design. During the fair, Portobello shared its progress in innovation and research over the last year, while its roadshow traveled through Central America and the Caribbean, presenting the new surfaces in showcases in more than 60 countries.
Eliane celebrated its 40th anniversary at the fair, with the launch of the Milo Collection, co-created with Cité Arquitetura, and the Risca series, developed in partnership with FGMF. Both collections brought textures and modulations that raised the level of innovation in ceramic design.
These companies demonstrated the authenticity of Brazilian design and their technological capacity, reaffirming Brazil's position in the international coverings market.
