Portobello is taking part in Cersaie 2023, which takes place from September 25 to 29 in Bologna, Italy. The event celebrates its 40th anniversary as the world's most important flooring fair, bringing the main trends in this market.
Portobello, which will present new product lines during the show, exports to more than 60 countries and participates in international events such as Cersaie to boost business and present the portfolio of products developed by the company, which stand out for their technology and design.
"In addition to being a showcase for the world, taking part in the fair is totally in line with Portobello's internationalization strategy, which this year took a leap forward by starting operations at its first factory in the USA," says John Suzuki, Portobello's CEO.
Cersaie takes place every year and brings leading companies from all over the world to present trends and technologies in wall and floor coverings, bathroom furniture and finishes for architectural projects. Portobello customers from all continents have already confirmed their presence at the fair.
The company will have a stand with a minimalist, monochrome design, made in collaboration with the Marchetti Bonetti office. The space has three distinct areas and a central stand, where the Tropezienne launch is the highlight.
The product, with special cuts, covers the entire façade of the stand. Side panels built with The Edge and other novelties complete the décor of the space. Portobello is also presenting a new category of Infinite Walls, large-format surfaces whose aesthetics create refined and timeless environments.
Check outthe products that will be at Cersaie 2023 below:
Tropezienne:
The simple, unpretentious and naturally sophisticated beauty of the French riviera inspires lastra Tropezienne, which dares to bring the carefree sophistication characteristic of France to tiles. Using new ceramic manufacturing technologies, Tropezienne brings natural tones to a compact, contemporary material.
The Tropezienne Blanc and Greige versions have the color of St. Tropez sand at different times in the summer sun. Tropezienne Cendré, in a more wintry tone, complements the collection.
TheEdge:
Inspired by overcoming limits, on the frontier of technical and aesthetic innovations and possibilities, The Edge is a fusion of the strength of stones with the warmth of leather and the elegance of gold. Born to be timeless, the product features designs, reliefs, protrusions and textures in predominantly black and brown tones. Ideal for projects and people who dream boldly, The Edge is available in 120x270 and 120x120 formats.
Nero Venato:
Nero Venato is a Pakistani marble that has been widely adopted by the Italians. Known as "black and gold", this ornamental stone has white and gold veins that contrast intensely with the black of the background, impressing with the beauty of the design that looks like a thread of water running over the piece.
Infinite walls:
The new product category materializes the incessant search for the new and brings a visual experience that enhances spaces. The challenge to processes and technologies results in an authorial interpretation with incredible solutions.
The collections gain: new textures, with a drier touch and matt finish, with lines that form microtextures; new formats with a rethought edge, with an imperceptible fit and wallpaper effect; new reliefs, which added to the new matt texture, highlight the more vivid and natural edges.
