Ceramic World Review magazine, in collaboration with MECS (Acimac’s Research Department), published a ranking of the world’s largest ceramic tile manufacturers. The evaluation criterion was production volume, based on data through December 31, 2025.
According to the publication, the consolidated list was compiled based on information provided directly by the companies or, in some cases, gathered from public sources or estimated.
In the ranking, of the 28 companies listed, four are Brazilian, with one ranking among the top ten.
The manufacturer Carmelo Fior produced 106.9 million square meters at its five manufacturing facilities. The company owns the brands Arielle, Cecafi, Fioranno, Idealle, Pisoforte, and Realle.
It is estimated that the Cedasa Group produced 60 million m² in 2025. The company has a single factory in Brazil, with brands divided into two categories:
Ceramics Division: Cedasa, Majopar, Vistabella, Lorenzza, and Ágata.
Porcelain Tile Division: Duetelli , Helena, and Damme.
The Fragnani Group reported production of 42.3 million square meters. With three production facilities, the manufacturer owns the following brands: Incefra, Incenor, Tecnogres, InOut Premium, HD-Max, UP, Concept, Speciale, Técnica, Design, and Plus.
Portobello has two factories in Brazil and one in the United States, with an estimated production of 42 million square meters, distributed across three brands: Portobello, Pointer, and Portobello America.
The inclusion of four Brazilian companies in the ranking underscores the country's importance in the global ceramic tile industry.
