Brazilian ceramics around the world

An initiative of the Ceramics of Brazil project, developed by Anfacer in partnership with ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency).

In celebration of Anfacer's 40th anniversary in 2024, we are launching the "Brazilian Ceramics around the World" project, an initiative that aims to highlight the strength and relevance of our sector on the international stage.

This page, dedicated to the project, will feature articles on works in different countries that use Brazilian ceramics, as well as presenting successful cases of the sector's exports.

Clarice Debiagi Architecture and Urbanism: single-family residence, Punta del Este, Uruguay

Built using the modular off-site method, this house, located in a high-end condominium in Punta del Este, Uruguay, is mainly made of steel frame and wood cladding. Architect Clarice Debiagi's main premise was to propose an architectural project that was different from what is usually found in prefabricated homes in the country. For the interiors, the Brazilian brand Eliane Revestimentos was chosen to give the bathrooms a vintage yet modern style[1]

Squella Architects: Partenón 1770 Building, Vitacura, Chile

Located in Vitacura, in the metropolitan region of Santiago, Chile, the Partenón 1770 building was built with a reinforced concrete structure and clad externally with ceramic bricks. On its seven floors, Squella Arquitectos created floor-to-ceiling openings connected to terraces on the façades to give the residential units a feeling of spaciousness. These outdoor areas were given a contemporary touch with Portobello's Brasília Concreto floor covering.

Swimming pool designed as a work of art

Developed by Tag Front Architects, this luxury mansion located in Los Angeles, California (USA), has an organic modernist proposal, with transparencies that allow the interior and exterior to connect. From the 75-meter-long curvilinear pool, which has been covered by the Brazilian brand Vidro Real, you can also enjoy wide views of the Pacific Ocean.
